Hi, my name is Emily Lacey, and I want to thank you for visiting my blog. I am a junior at Marist College, majoring in English with a concentration in writing and minors in Music and creative writing.
I created this blog, because I have been increasingly interested in do it yourself projects. I never know if they are going to work the way they are intended, or if they are going to even look like the original picture. So I decided, that if I was going to try these projects anyway, why not make a blog about it?
The idea started when I was put on the project to help make my sister a new bed. I spent hours on pinterest and ikeahackers looking for something that would fit our needs in price and functionality.
Eventually we found it but it took a while. In this blog I am to be honest, and to clearly explain the steps in all of my projects. I also aim to have pictures showing the progress and finished products, and to have all the appropriate links to materials you may need (if they are specific) and to any blog or pin that made me originally want to try it.
My opinions on whether the projects are worth it or not, are strictly that, opinions but with them I hope I will give you a better insight on whether the project is worth your time and money. I love arts and craft, and creating things. That’s why I am into creative writing and music! Creating things always give you good stories to tell. So sit back and I’ll tell mine, while you ponder over what yours will be. Oh yeah, I’m also a twin =D
